Welcome to my gallery, which embraces a selection of photograph collections featuring principally Scottish Railways from the late 1960's to the present time: also some of European railways, my family, friends and colleagues and the RWC 2007.
As a professional in the rail infrastructure industry there are a number of "behind the scenes" collections of track and infrastructure renewal work in Scotland. These galleries have generated significant interest and feedback and will be regularly updated. |

I'm now in my mid 50's, married (to a very tolerant Anne-Marie) with two sons (Andrew and Keith, both in their 20's). Professionally I'm a Chartered Civil Engineer in the railway infrastructure industry. As can be seen from the these photo galleries my interest in railways is not just professional. Also known to enjoy a wee dram (Rosebank or Aberlour in particular) and the odd glass of "vin rouge" when not working. Played rugby when much younger, now content to enjoy watching Scotland.
