Welcome

Welcome to my gallery, which embraces a selection of photograph collections featuring principally Scottish Railways from the late 1960's to the present time: also some of European railways, my family, friends and colleagues and the RWC 2007.
As a professional in the rail infrastructure industry there are a number of "behind the scenes" collections of track and infrastructure renewal work in Scotland. These galleries have generated significant interest and feedback and will be regularly updated.

About Me

I'm now in my mid 50's, married (to a very tolerant Anne-Marie) with two sons (Andrew and Keith, both in their 20's). Professionally I'm a Chartered Civil Engineer in the railway infrastructure industry. As can be seen from the these photo galleries my interest in railways is not just professional. Also known to enjoy a wee dram (Rosebank or Aberlour in particular) and the odd glass of "vin rouge" when not working. Played rugby when much younger, now content to enjoy watching Scotland.
